Darya is the Director of Virginia Satir Institute in the UK, a not-for-profit affiliate of the Satir Global Network, the official training organisation of Virginia Satir. Darya is a pioneer of community training and educational sessions and has been awarded the Outstanding Service Award by the Satir Global Network. 
 
As psychologist and as systemic relationship coach, Darya began her career in one of the biggest multinational companies where she became a human resources manager and the HR Talent leader for the European hub. She quit her corporate job in Switzerland to move back to the UK and focus on helping transform people’s lives and work. With 20 years of coaching and talent management experience, Darya has written for the Huffington Post and has been on BBC morning and evening radio shows. Darya runs a successful private practice in the UK and Greece 
 
She holds a Doctorate in Psychology, a First Class Honours in Economics, a Master’s in Psychology, a Master’s with Distinction in International Relations and a Master’ of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge in the UK. She is devoted to furthering the research of systemic tools to help create a love-rich and violence-free world.
 
Darya is a certified trainers’ trainer in NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), a professional certified coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a lecturer at universities around the world.
 
Darya is a Founder of Enrich Global, an organisation that offers workshops and retreats to people from all walks of life as well as such companies as YPO, P&G, UN, Google, Amazon, Cambridge Uni, Sony and many more.
 
Working across different countries and speaking five languages, as well as being a mother of three, she is valued for her skills in helping people enrich relationships and build happy families, and successful and meaningful businesses through focusing on their personal growth.

Virginia Satir: The ‘Mother of Family Therapy & NLP’

In this session, I will share how Virginia Satir, often recognized as the Mother of Family Therapy, profoundly influenced the field of NLP. I will explore Satir’s systemic methods, such as Parts Work, Family Sculpting, and her focus on congruent communication, and demonstrate how these approaches shaped the core of NLP techniques we use today.

Through practical exercises, you will experience firsthand the power of Satir’s work and discover ways to incorporate these tools into your own NLP practice to foster deeper connections and personal transformation.
