NLP As Long-Term Game Changer For Eating Disorders
This session will present the ongoing work of my mother Lindsey and me to create an approach using NLP that can be used to help shift the rigid thought patterns of sufferers of eating disorders – anorexia in particular.
After experiencing many false starts to my own recovery mainly driven by the traditional ‘upside’ down’ approaches by in-patient units, I have used my lived experience alongside Lindsey’s years of experience with NLP and as a change manager in the corporate world to create a game-changing approach that has a measurable impact.
In the session we will share a powerful experience of what it is like to live with this mental illness and share their method which covers:
- Stage One: Contemplating Change
- Stage Two: Moving into Action
- Stage Three: Recovery
Our session will include the opportunity for you to experience key techniques.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Experience and understand more about what it is like to have an eating disorder
- Learn about how NLP makes the difference in eating disorder recovery
- Be given an overview of the 3 – stage approach
- Drill down into key interventions of each stage
- Practice key interventions so you can share them with others
This session is for anyone working in the field of eating disorders, medical professionals who want to learn more, NLP’ers who are considering working with sufferers of eating disorders.

This session will teach you the secrets of taking personal responsibility and ownership for
achieving business and coaching goals and objectives. Lean to use NLP skills for:
- Taking more personal responsibility and accountability for actions
- Creating actionable goals and objectives
- Moving from a problem focused mindset to a solution focused mindset
- Developing more creative and flexible ways of thinking and working
- Become motivated and energised about achieving goals and objectives
